Editorial Policies
Mobile Home Park Magazines publications provide a forum to inform and promote the manufactured housing community. For park managers, the magazines offer a way to communicate with all park residents and can act as a non-threatening reminder of existing or potential problems within the community. For residents, the magazines offer a way to disseminate information such as scheduled activities or reports of events past. To ensure the enjoyment of all participants, we have developed the following policies:
Editorial Policies
- Each editor must allow all residents’ organizations and management to participate in the magazine.
- The magazine is not to be used for resident/management disputes by either residents of management. Mobile Home Park Management must remain neutral in all resident/management issues to preserve the integrity of the magazine.
- Resident political organizations are asked to limit their information to meeting notices and reports of chapter meetings. Articles may not be reprinted from any other publication.
- Listing of in-park services (e.g. babysitting, handymen, Avon, etc.) is not allowed.
- Mobile Home Park Magazine reserves the right to edit or remove any material it deems inappropriate at its sole discretion.
- All advertising must go through Mobile Home Park Magazines. Any advertising submitted with editorial will be removed and the editor notified.
- Referral Bonus: Editors and readers alike will be rewarded $25 for any advertiser they refer who takes out a contract valued at $100 or more.
