Editorial Policies

Mobile Home Park Magazines publications provide a forum to inform and promote the manufactured housing community. For park managers, the magazines offer a way to communicate with all park residents and can act as a non-threatening reminder of existing or potential problems within the community. For residents, the magazines offer a way to disseminate information such as scheduled activities or reports of events past. To ensure the enjoyment of all participants, we have developed the following policies:

Editorial Policies

  1. Each editor must allow all residents’ organizations and management to participate in the magazine.
  2. The magazine is not to be used for resident/management disputes by either residents of management. Mobile Home Park Management must remain neutral in all resident/management issues to preserve the integrity of the magazine.
  3. Resident political organizations are asked to limit their information to meeting notices and reports of chapter meetings. Articles may not be reprinted from any other publication.
  4. Listing of in-park services (e.g. babysitting, handymen, Avon, etc.) is not allowed.
  5. Mobile Home Park Magazine reserves the right to edit or remove any material it deems inappropriate at its sole discretion.
  6. All advertising must go through Mobile Home Park Magazines. Any advertising submitted with editorial will be removed and the editor notified.
  7. Referral Bonus: Editors and readers alike will be rewarded $25 for any advertiser they refer who takes out a contract valued at $100 or more.
